Ingredients
3 cups | Tomatoes, fresh, seeded, 1/4-inch dice |
3/4 cup | Schwartz’s® Spicy Dill Spears, 1/4-inch dice |
1/4 cup | Olive oil |
3 tbsp | Basil, fresh, minced |
3/4 tsp | Salt |
3/4 tsp | Black pepper, freshly ground |
48 slices | Italian bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick, toasted |
3 lbs | Mozzarella cheese, fresh, sliced 1/4-inch thick |
Procedure
- Combine diced tomatoes, Schwartz’s® Spicy Dill Spears, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
To Serve:
- Top each toasted bread slice with one slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Place under broiler or salamander for 2 to 3 minutes to melt cheese.
- Top with 2 tablespoons bruschetta.
