Ingredients

1 cupBay Valley Buffalo Pickle Chips, drained
1 cupbreading mixture
1 cupreserved buffalo pickle brine
¼ cupblue cheese dipping sauce

Procedure

Yield: 1 serving

1. Place drained buffalo pickle chips in a large bowl.
2. Sprinkle breading mixture over pickles and toss to coat.
3. In another medium bowl, place pickle brine.
4. Shake excess breading mixture off pickles and add them to the bowl with brine. Toss pickles until moistened.
5. Strain the breaded and moistened pickles out of brine, then return to large bowl with breading mixture and toss to coat.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 once more.
7. Shake excess breading mixture and discard unused portion.
8. Fry coated pickles at 350 degrees for six minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Drain onto a paper towel. Once pickles have cooled, place onto a serving dish and serve along with blue cheese dipping sauce.

Pickle Breading Mixture

Yield: 3 servings

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper

Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until combined.
2. Transfer to a lidded quart container and store until needed.  

Chef's Tip:

Spicy buffalo flavored pickles, hand-battered in a seasoned coating, fried until golden. Served with a creamy blue cheese dipping sauce.
