Ingredients
5 qts | Water |
3 qts | Sturm’s Village Farm® Old Fashioned Oats |
1 tsp | Salt |
1 cup | Pure maple syrup |
1 cup | Walnuts, toasted, chopped |
1/2 cup | Packed brown sugar |
3 cups | Blueberries |
3 cups | Raspberries |
5 cups | Greek yogurt, plain |
(Optional) | Milk, warmed |
Procedure
To Prepare Oats:
- Bring water to a boil in a large stockpot over high heat; stir in Sturm’s Village Farm® Old Fashioned Oats and salt.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Stir in maple syrup.
- For nut topping, combine walnuts and brown sugar in a bowl.
To Make One Parfait:
- In a parfait glass, layer 1 tablespoon each of blueberries and raspberries, 1/3 cup oatmeal, 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon each of blueberries and raspberries, 2 tablespoons oatmeal, 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt, and 1 tablespoon nut topping.
- Garnish with additional blueberries.
- Serve with warm milk on the side, if desired.
